So I’ve recently blogged about potential Star Wars Episode IX leaks from Reddit. The leaks subreddit is only as trustworthy as the people posting there and even the moderators won’t vouch for people if there’s no proof to back up their claims. Fake news is everywhere and unfortunately, many bloggers like me who blog as a hobby don’t have time to scour the Internet verifying every piece of information or news they read.

It’s common knowledge that trolls will be trolls and they enjoy purposefully leading people astray whenever they can. As fans, we’re prime targets for this behavior and I’m beginning to think what I posted earlier may not have been legitimate information.

That said, I won’t be deterred from blogging about things I read about but I will certainly be more cautious before believing anything to do with leaks on Episode IX.
