I’m sorry readers, I normally wouldn’t blog about things like this but because this happened in my country, I feel I need to say something about it.

I haven’t seen the live stream yet, I don’t know if I even want to but the main person behind the shooting that happened in Christchurch apparently live streamed it as he was killing people.

The city of Christchurch is in the South Island of New Zealand. For those that don’t know, New Zealand has two main islands, North and South. The Southern part of the country is known for being quiet and definitely NOT the type of city that would have anything like this occur.

I don’t know what to say, I feel so badly for the victims and their families. I don’t understand how another human being can do this… it is actually beyond my comprehension that anyone could do this but here we are and it’s real. I don’t have any family or friends in Christchurch but my heart goes out to everyone.

The shooting has been described as a “massacre” because 27 people were killed. I don’t even know if this is the finaly tally. I was actually asleep when it happened because my migraine forced me back to bed.

I just don’t know what to feel about this, all I can do right now is feel numb.
