I might need to split this post into two because there has been a huge release of new images for The Rise of Skywalker including character posters for The Knights of Ren, Rey and Kylo Ren.

Here are a few of the animations and edits I’ve created today. This first one is cool looking but was originally blue and I changed it to red (because red is the First Order colour and also synonymous with the dark side of the force). Someone mentioned on Instagram that they originally made it blue because of the supposed “Bendemption” that many fans think will happen in the new film. I’ve read all the spoilers and leaks and let’s just say “anything is possible” at this stage but I’m sticking with red!

The next image was originally coloured and I changed the entire image so that the blue would have more of a contrast in the animation. I also symbolise Rey as “water” and Kylo Ren as “fire” in the elements:

Kylo Ren companion piece to the Rey one above. I also wanted the red to appear as if it was bleeding in the animation, did I manage to pull it off? I am not sure…
