I have not been blogging as much as I used to, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been pursuing that dream! Behind the scenes, I’ve officially started reviewing books over on my writing blog, and it kind of happened out of the blue and wasn’t expected. Someone approached me via Twitter, and that was that, really. So, I’ve been reading and watching, and I’ve got updates to come for my writing blog very soon!

SPOILERS – this post expects that you’ve already seen the first episode of The Mandalorian so, please beware!

Back to Star Wars – what did you think of The Mandalorian? My initial feelings were it’s very much Star Wars but blended with elements of old-style westerns with shoot-outs and gangs of rugged men that roam the galaxy. The Mandalorian himself is undoubtedly a charismatic character, never-revealing his face (even though we know who it is!), a man of very few words unless it comes down to surviving and talking to droids to get out of heated and difficult situations. Personally, I cannot wait to see the first female Mandalorian to feature in a live-action TV show! That’s going to be badass! I’d like to do recaps, but I really need to get my other articles up on this blog (from Dork Side of the Force) first and then I need to post the graphic edits I’ve done at some point too.
