A Dyad in the Force – Reylo Photoshop Tutorial edit & review

Well, I’ve had time to think over the last few days about what I want to do with this blog. Believe it or not, I’m still making a lot of edits, video clips and general edits for Star Wars and my newfound interest, Count Dracula (but that’s another blog post entirely). The one thing I know I can’t live without is art and creating things. So I am going to continue posting what I create and continue doing the Adobe tutorial reviews that I enjoy so much.

However, in terms of writing, the time I’ve spent thinking I’ve also spent researching and reading about bloggers and blogging in general. I have actually started studying towards the goal that I talked about in an earlier post, and I’ve been working on my writing blog today to slowly transition into what I want that space to represent. So anything about writing will be featured on that blog going forward unless it’s directly related to creativity, Adobe software or Star Wars.

I made this blog with the purpose to share and enjoy creativity and Star Wars, and I think that’s really my thing and what I feel happiest doing. With that in mind, here is the editing process I undertook yesterday to create the “Dyad” image graphic:

Darkside Creative Tutorial Review

Website: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3tNPKcfTsM

Time: 30 minutes for the final graphic

Level: Beginner to intermediate

Comment: This is the first time I’ve done a tutorial from this designer, and although his accent is very heavy, I was still able to follow along easily to his tutorial. I spotted this text effect when I was looking at graphic design tutorials in general and thought I’d give it a go in Photoshop. The steps in the tutorial are very straightforward to follow. If you make a mistake, you can simply back up the video clip and replay.

Rating: 9/10
