Hello everyone! I hope you’re all doing well.
Today’s photoshop post is a little different from what I would normally do. I’m still posting art that I make so that’s the same but I’ve expanded to using other Adobe apps such as Adobe Capture.
If you’re unfamiliar with Adobe Capture, it’s an app that you can use on your phone that to capture an image and instantly turn it into a vector image (which saves as image type .SVG).
I had never used this app before today so it’s definitely an experiment in learning but it was fun creating this image. I was trying to follow the Adobe Create process but the artist was using a lot of vector shapes which I haven’t done before so I created my own thing.
This is the original image:
And this is what I made using the vector images captured in Adobe Capture. It’s not great but I liked making it and I learned something new and that’s what it’s all about, right!
I was thinking of making the area in her glasses move with a GIF but maybe that’s a project for another day.
So what are you getting up to during lockdown in your country? Let me know in the comments, I’d be keen to see what everyone’s been doing their spare time!
Until my next post, stay safe and keep creating!
