43 Years Ago Today, Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope Was Released

It’s a day that I haven’t really blogged about before but it is a special day for any Star Wars fan, especially if you are a fan of the Original Trilogy.

I think as fans we should take some time and think about how Star Wars has impacted our lives and what our world might look like without it. For me, Star Wars has always been a very personal thing and something that started in my family when I was just a kid. I couldn’t imagine my life without Star Wars in it.

Star Wars has changed my life in more ways than one and to say I’m grateful for George Lucas’ vision coming to life is something I am extremely happy to do.

So from me to you and to any Star Wars fans reading this today, I wish you a joyous and safe 43rd Star Wars Anniversary day! If buying Star Wars merchandise is your way of celebrating, I hope you find something really nice to buy.

I found this clip on YouTube and I think it’s really awesome even though nobody has watched it – they should, because hearing Obi-Wan Kenobi say the most famous words at the end is just golden.
