This is the first time I’ve ever done the Nightlife Event since its inception, and I am so glad I waited to do it. So there are two ways you can go about getting all of the coveted rare items from this event. The first is to slog it out doing repeatable quests and endless hours collecting enough chips to play the machines and win. I don’t recommend this although unless you’re a character with an infinite supply of credits, you’re going to be forced to do this. The second is my preferred method which is just throw as much money at the slot machines until you get what you want.
Since I have acquired a somewhat decent amount of credits over the years of playing this game, I had no issues throwing credits at the machines. It took me a few hours to win all the items I wanted bar one which I can’t currently get until the patch because it’s bugged. But I managed to get one armour set that I liked, one weapon, and TWO rare companions which I was stoked about. One of them can be gained by playing on the King Pin Bounty Slot Machines:

Either way, you’re going to end up out of pocket if you want to acquire everything like I did. I spent more than 100 million today, but I got every item I wanted, all the mounts except one and I managed to score one of the rarest companions as a drop from the slot machines. It’s such a pity that you can’t trade the drops you get because I have a spare one of Phrojo and about three of the mounts as well which will now just collect dust in my cargo hold.

I have 11 special Emperor chips and, I am going to try my luck at getting the new mount once the update patches the game this Wednesday. So I guess it’s still a bit of “best of luck” since the item is random, but I have 11 chances to win it, so fingers crossed!

Hi there Julie, I’m guessing you are waiting for the Purple slot machines to be fixed huh? No, I don’t play the game myself but I have been watching a friend of mine play on Twitch and learnt about it that way. I’d like to play the game but with my laptop I just don’t think it would work – plus I still have Kotor that I haven’t installed or played yet.
One final thing, that armour sorta has a “Crimson Cad Bane” vibe to it.

Hey FT 🙂 I agree with you on the armour and yeah, the bugged slot machine is the special slot machine next to the huge stature of the Hutt on Nar Shadaa. I am not sure if that’s the one you mean but there are only a few of them to use, not lie the purple or green slot machines. Those ones aren’t bugged as far as I know. But I checked the forums last night and yeah, multiple gamers have been complaining about it. It’d be cool if you could find a way to play, we could start our own little Star Wars guild lol 🙂

I just heard my friend complain that the purple machines were down and a fix was meant to be coming out on the 28th (I think). And I’ll be honest, I am in the game….I’m the guy playing the Keytar in the casino! I used to play semi professional and I had 2 Keytar synths, as soon as I saw the character in the game I thought “that’s me!” Seriously though I might look into getting on the game when my issues with Microsoft are ironed out.

Hmm maybe I got it wrong, I played on those machines I think lol but yeah, there are a lot of bugs so I won’t be logging back on until they fix everything on Wednesday. Hehehe I thought I saw you LOL anyway, good luck with sorting out the Microsoft issues, I know PC faults can be really annoying to fix. I’ve had to fix my fair share of them over the years 🙂
