Star Wars Edits – Darth Vader and Padme

I saw this cover on Tumblr and I just knew I had to animate it. It’s so beautiful, and so sad all at once. And it inspired me to write some words as well:

“Even though I see you, I know you are not here. Yet you are still the light in the darkest night, fading from my hands … but never from my heart”…

I would probably argue that in this moment, it’s Anakin holding Padme (sniffle)

    1. Hi TVTA 🙂 Thank you for the kind comment 🙂 And yes, I got a little melancholy when I saw this one. Padme and Anakin are such a tragic couple in the Star Wars universe. Sometimes I think there’s more tragedy than anything else

  2. Your blog looks so much better on the site than in the WordPress reader. The images are so much larger, I should use my pc more and my phone less, LOL.

Lol yeah, I’ve even tried to optimise the images for smaller screens but there’s only so much you can do 🙂 My site is very visual so it definitely benefits from being seen on a larger screen 🙂 How are you doing today? I read about your news about the redundancy 😦 Sorry to hear that, Neil. I’ve been through redundancy before but this is probably a unique situation with COVID. I hope you’re doing okay?

      1. Thank you Julie. I’m taking it one day at a time. The applying for new jobs can start now, that’s a bit scary.
        With millions about to lose their jobs it won’t be easy.

      2. I have faith you can get through it Neil 🙂 You never know, you might find a job that you enjoy. Uncertain times for everyone but changing careers can be very stressful. Taking one day at a time is a good plan 🙂
