I haven’t had a lot of interest in The High Republic on this blog so I am wondering if that is because my readers, in general, are just not that interested? I’m thinking of running a poll to see if I can gage why that might be but I was kind of on the fence about it too when I first heard about the release. It took me a while to warm up to the idea of the new “saga” for Star Wars.

As you welcome in something new, you say goodbye to things of the past; one door opens another one closes – or as Kylo Ren so succinctly put it:

“Let the past die. Kill it, if you have too”

Do you think that is what we must do as fans of Star Wars? Let the past go and welcome in the new saga and creativity from the universe we love so much? I am not entirely sure myself. Let me know what you think about this in the comments, friends.

    1. Hehehe yeah – well they kind of did that with Rey and the sequel trilogy which many people were not happy about at the time. I find it hilarious that people would be annoyed because they chose to give a female the lead in a Star Wars film… like wake up and smell the roses this is the 21st century not the 1700s lol

    1. Haha yeah I see them all the time on Social Media making their claims like they’re important. The sad thing is some of those people have been so cruel to the actors – that’s one of the reasons why Kelly Marie Tran stopped using social media 😦 and the same with Daisy Ridley
