Never heard of Star Wars 1313? Don’t be surprised. Many star wars fans won’t have heard of this game because it was scrapped by LucasArts before it could really gain momentum.

Even if you’re not a gamer, the concept art and trailer alone are worth looking at if only to admire how beautiful this game would have been.

Here’s an example of some of the concept art just so you get what I mean:

So in the game, you start off as a random player who then gets killed by Boba Fett, and you then assume Boba Fett’s identity within the game and play as him going forward. HOW insanely fun would that have been?? I could only dream of playing a Star Wars game as Boba Fett.

But yes, that is but a dream since the project was scrapped by Disney when it bought out LucasArts. Some articles I’ve read refer to Disney revisiting this project again. But I doubt that will ever happen. And I’d be happy to be wrong on this.
