Who Do You Think Saved Grogu on Coruscant?

I have read many posts about The Mandalorian this week, partially to get my mind off other more stressful things. One thing that I read recently piqued my interest and I’ve been thinking about it ever since. Who was it that saved Grogu from the Jedi temple on Coruscant?

Many suggestions have been made online which I’ve thought about but so far, I am not so sure about any of them. But Yoda seems most likely. It is possible Yoda found Grogu or knew of his existence prior to Order 66 being issued by Darth Sidious. And being a little “shifty” and hiding things seems like the kind of thing Yoda could totally do. Wouldn’t it make sense that Yoda would bond with Grogu above all other force-sensitives (considering they are of the same race and of a very rare species). I think this theory is possible.

Some said Anakin – where Anakin had a moralistic duty to obey as a Jedi Knight, he was already Darth Vader at this point. Perhaps Anakin discovered Grogu during his attack on the temple – he was definitely in the right place at the right time to do this. We already knew that he was suffering as a result of turning to the dark side and that he was feeling remorse. Perhaps he couldn’t bring himself to end Grogu’s life and let him go or even helped him escape? Definitely possible.

Or perhaps it is someone we least expect, a less-known member of the Jedi Council? After reading this article over at Screen Rant, all of their suggestions make sense so it could be any one of these characters. But who do you think is the most likely character to have saved Grogu?

  1. I love the idea of Jocasta Nu saving Grogu. It makes perfect sense to me. Yoda would be my other guess, he always has a trick up his sleeve. I HIGHLY doubt Anakin spared him. If he could slaughter a roomful of innocent children, I don’t see him taking pity on Grogu, either. But who knows? I love these speculative questions in Star Wars!

    1. I’m thinking of who they’re trying to introduce to the series which is why I doubt it’ll be someone relatively unknown. Although that does also make sense, considering they’ve broken almost every single mold this season with Bo Katan, Ahsoka Tano and bringing back Boba Fett from the dead, unless they’re reading the “Filoni giving too much fan service to fans” BS, I reckon they’ll follow the pattern they’ve started by making it someone that everyone will be in awe of and in turn, bring that character into the series. But yeah, who knows what they’ll do. If this seasons is anything to go by, anything is possible đŸ™‚
