It’s Confirmed – Hayden Christensen to Reprise His Role as Darth Vader!

TRUST ME THIS WILL BREAK THE INTERNET LOLOLOL and I am SOOOO HAPPY in fact I don’t think I’ve ever been happier for a STAR WARS thing since I heard they were making more movies back in 2014…

For those wondering, it was announced in today’s Disney announcements and confirmed by Ewan McGregor who called it “the most beautiful thing of all” today via the Obi-Wan Kenobi featurette. Here is the snippet from Deadline confirming it:

Here is the link if you want to read it yourself.

I am so happy, now all they need to do is say they’ll be making a Ben Solo movie and all my star wars wishes will be fulfilled LOL

Love you guys – let me know what you think of this wonderful news? If you hate the news, I’m happy to hear that too 🙂

    1. Hello! And thank you for taking the time to comment 🙂 YES I am so excited, I was actually way too excited when I heard the news lol like a kid all over again. I am a HUGE fan of the original films and an equally huge fan of the prequels and I have always felt that Hayden was treated poorly by the fandom at the time. But he couldn’t have asked for a better way at getting back at all those haters lol 🙂

      1. Yes he really was! I thought he did a great job in his role. People who didn’t like his style just didn’t understand Anakin’s character well enough (in my humble opinion). So true! There’s no better come back than success…

  1. That is THE most exciting news of the day! Kenobi is my most anticipated show, and to learn that Hayden is actually going to be in it is a dream come true! Unbelievable. Everything else they announced pales in comparison, although I am looking forward to the Andor series. Wahoo!

  2. Hi Julie, they (Disney/Lucasfilm) just need to contact me to film the Qui-Gon Jinn story 😀 I hear I have a passing resemblance to the maverick Jedi.

I am pleased to hear that Hayden is getting a chance to silence any critics left out there. He could only project what he was directed to, and with Lucas having a tendency to make things up !on the fly” it was no wonder he might have struggled. Carrying the mantle of the future Lord Vader would also have been a big burden (makes you wonder if David Prowse was cast as Vader due to his weightlifting/bodybuilding past). Great news and thanks for sharing, I heard it first here!

    1. Hey FT!! I hope you are well and safe 🙂 And thank you for the comments – don’t worry, nobody else will be taking on the role of Qui Gon Jinn except you and Liam Neeson LOL 😀 And yes, I am SO happy for Hayden as you know I have always been a very big fan of his portrayal of Anakin Skywalker and if George Lucas thought he made a great choice then who is anyone to complain (I know they do and they will but George Lucas is KING!) 🙂 Hayden is going to KILL it as Vader and all of those naysayers can just shut up 😛

  3. Thanks, I’m kinda looking forward to starting my movie career (I actually went to a Performing Arts college when I was younger). The funny thing is I just recently took a selfie whilst wearing my new robe I mentioned and I look more like the pic of Anakin that you posted! (I’m afraid the UK lockdown made it difficult for me to get to the barbers’ shop and I have lost weight so look a bit gaunt and dishevelled. Just need the yellow eyes and I’d pass as a Sith!)

I look forward to your (non spoiler) reviews.
