Dreams Actually Do Come True – Thank You Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni!

SPOILERS PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT YET SEEN THE FINAL EPISODE OF THE MANDALORIAN

I slept on the INTERNET-breaking news of Mark Hamill returning to the Star Wars franchise as young Jedi Master Luke Skywalker because I needed to let it sink in and there are too many spoiler-free fans on the internet to really enjoy it.

BUT NOW I CAN LET LOOSE…

JEDI MASTER LUKE SKYWALKER ANSWERS THE CALL FROM GROGU!

Yup, that’s it, that’s the post lol (joking) 😅. But the internet is alive and buzzing and has been for hours after the revelation that Jedi Master Luke Skywalker was the final character to appear at the end of the season two finale of The Mandalorian.

AND THE FANS ARE GOING WILD as you can well imagine. But OH MY GOD the footage OF LUKE SKYWALKER KICKIN’ DARK TROOPER ASS… seriously, STAR WARS just doesn’t get much better than this:

Turn on your sound for this one, trust me!

And look at GROGU oh my gosh – he can feel the force!

There is honestly nothing better in this episode even though it was such a good episode in all, showcasing the Original Trilogy hero with none other than Luke Skywalker is BEYOND a dream come true for me and many other fans out there who were hoping he would return.

Here’s what Luke Skywalker himself had to say about it on Twitter:

I am honestly so full of emotions right now, like so many fans must be today. This year has been a helluva shitty year for everyone and being a Star Wars fan honestly helped us get through it. That and being able to share it with some special people on this blog. And having The Mandalorian end like this – with my childhood hero… geez, it goes beyond words.

I just don’t know what else to say … tears of joy are all I have. Tears of JOY!

Please comment so I can continue talking about this amazing gift we’ve been given as a fandom…

  1. Same, Julie, I feel you! I’m still seriously nerding out here! I’m going to rewatch tonight to let it all sink in before I write up my post on it. And just double-checking to make sure you got my reply email about the K series. No hurries–there’s so much to absorb right now!
