Star Wars Rumours – Obi-Wan Kenobi to Appear in Cassian Andor Disney+ Series

Hello, dear Star Wars friends! The rumour mill seems to be turning even more with a new rumour surfacing on social media and websites about a possible appearance by Obi-Wan Kenobi in the new Cassian Andor Disney Plus series.

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE hearing about all the speculation and possibilities of these appearances from other characters in the universe, and I get extremely excited when they happen. But I think that some of these appearances merely keep the fans interested and the hype factor for the new show as high as possible.

Of course, the fans will go mental hearing that Obi-Wan might be showing up in Andor – I will be the first to shout it out above the rooftops if it’s true. But again, nothing has been confirmed at the time of writing this, as far as I am aware. Everyone is still reporting on it being a rumour rather than a fact at this point. But with Star Wars, anything can happen, and we know that it’s best to keep an open mind with these things as fans. If it doesn’t happen, that’s okay, although I am a firm believer in “where there’s smoke, there’s fire.” 😅😂

But if it’s true wooooowaheyeyeyey (that’s me going a little crazy with all these rumours, lol)

  1. Hi there Julie, ” wooooowaheyeyeyey”? Are you trying to speak to us in some strange Papatoetoe dialect we don’t know of? Seriously though I saw these rumours a day or two ago and I think I saw a Facebook or Twitter post from McGregor showing “the beard” hinting that he was on set and from what I’ve read the Lucasfilm filming schedule suggests they are working on Andor at the moment. Sooo, it might be promising…I hope so.

    1. Yeahhh the Andor rumour has got some traction online and usually when that happens, it’s a good sign it’s legit (not always but usually). Pretty sure we’ll see Maul again and it’s not that much of a stretch that they’d put Obi-wan in the Andor series given the time line. I LOVE IT ALL lol and HOW DID YOU KNOW ABOUT PAPATOETOE? LOL I don’t live there by the way but still 🤣😂

      1. Maul and Kenobi in one series would be off the scale for the franchise. I can hear Kenobi trolling Maul already in my head…”I’m sorry you didn’t get your own show Maul….but Disney didn’t think “Maul – A Star Wars Story” had legs!”
        And Papatoetoe? Well I can’t give away all my secrets but let’s just say there are distant Tyeth relatives that live there! I know it’s a suburb of Auckland nestled at the foot of a valley and it has a really nice vintage (preserved) railway station and has a rather large well known shopping center – Hunters’ Place! The local rugby team play in red and black so I suspect there are Sith involved so I avoid them!

      3. Hi, from the images I’ve seen the preserved railway station is a nice little white wood building and has ornate scroll cut supports for the roof.
        I still converse with my in-laws that live there which is cool but not as often as I’d like.

  2. I’ve heard this one, and if it’s true that would be awesome! I’ve heard quite a few rumors lately, including one about a Mara Jade appearance, and another about a Luke series. I take them with a grain of salt, lol.

    1. OOh I haven’t heard either of those ones. I am betting the Luke series is pure rumour. If there was anything happening in that space about Luke Skywalker, I’d be all over it lol. Mara Jade has been an on-and-off again rumour for some time now I think. If we see anything in the way of Mara Jade it’ll be as a cameo in another series. If they make a Luke series, and that’s a HUGE IF, I could see them tying her into that somehow given her EU relationship with Luke 🙂

      2. I’ll be happy for whatever they give us, it’s so exciting lol. I remember how excited I was with the new trailers for the sequel trilogy and I was like “ugh” when I first found out they were doing it. I started off so distant from the fandom and then I was like “yayyyy” afterwards lol – it’s a very exciting time for us as fans, even for those that don’t want to see things expand, I bet they’ll come around eventually 🙂

      3. I was the same with the sequels. I thought, hmm, I don’t know. But when I saw them, I loved them. In fact, they’re what brought my back into my SW obsession and I knew I had to start a blog (or two, lol).
