Pick Me Up Friday’s β˜ΊοΈπŸ˜Š

Hello everyone, and welcome to another post for PICK ME UP Friday’s by yours truly!

I am slowly getting back into making graphics in Photoshop, so this post will double-up as an Adobe art post and a Pick Me Up Friday’s post. 😊

Remember, when I mentioned that I was using affirmations to focus on positivity? Well, I scoured the internet the other day looking for great daily examples and couldn’t find anything that worked. And then, I found two books that suited what I was looking for, and I am now using those books’ affirmations. If you’re interested in checking them out, they are: Affirmations for Happiness 200 Positive Affirmations for a Joyful Mindset Every Day by Kelsey Aida Roualdes and Random Fun Facts and Motivational Quotes.

Not all the content is related to affirmations, and it seems there are more quotes than affirmations in one of those books, but I thought 1000 random facts might be interesting to read. Also, there are so many affirmation books out there, so I just picked the ones that appealed to me.

CHINESE PROVERB AFFIRMATIONS 01

This is the one I liked when I read it, so I made this quick graphic for today’s post. It’s so much easier to have affirmations on-hand rather than having to scour through the internet for them (harder than you’d think). And while there is an abundance of books and material on affirmations, some of them just don’t feel like affirmations to me. The most important thing is how the affirmation makes you feel, right? So if you’re not “feeling” the words, then it’s pretty much useless as an affirmation for you. It’s completely subjective because everyone has their own way of working through negativity. But this is one thing I wanted to share with my readers.

Have a great weekend when it arrives, and stay safe out there; look after yourself, and I’ll catch you in the comments or in tomorrow’s post!
