There has been a lot of debate on social media about Disney’s recent announcement regarding the cast for the Obi-Wan series. Of course, fans are going to speculate. I mean, that’s what we do! And it’s fun to guess who could be in the show and in what capacity. It’s also fun to talk about who won’t be in the show as some revelations have come to light recently about Jar Jar Binks and his appearance.

One idea popped into my head when I noticed someone on Twitter talking about who could play a young Luke Skywalker. And then someone posted this:

I don’t know about you, but I am definitely getting a Luke Skywalker vibe coming off this kid! If you recognise his face, it’s because he played the son of Homelander in the hugely successful “The Boys” last year. His name is Cameron Corvetti.

During the timeline they are using for the Obi-Wan series, Luke would be around 8-10 years old? According to the best source there is on this, Star Wars dot com says 10 years after Anakin’s fall to the dark side:

The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where Kenobi faced his greatest defeat, the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker turned evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.

What do you think, people? Do you think we’ll see a young Luke Skywalker? I would say there’s a pretty big chance we will considering the connection Obi-Wan had with him, but I guess we’ll see. I am putting my money on this kid though, he is perfect as a young Luke Skywalker.
