Pick Me Up Friday’s โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Š

So I’d like to do something different today. Here is a nice phrase I saw online which I think could be relevant to many people including myself.

I saw it on Medium and really liked it so thought I would incorporate it into my post for today:

When you stop expecting people to be perfect, you can like them for who they are.

Via Medium

I think it’s important to treat people as you would like to be treated. When I was a kid, I went to Sunday School because my Mother is Catholic and I learned about this all that time ago and still remember my teacher saying it to me lol – along with “If someone’s face goes red, you might be catching that person in a lie!” ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Has someone you know done something wonderful or kind for you recently? Let me know in the comments as I’d love to read about them!

In the meantime, we have a long weekend coming up here – ANZAC day, and for those who don’t know, ANZAC stands for Australia New Zealand Army Core, and it is a day of remembrance and respect for those that died fighting for our countries. Most people just celebrate it with a sleep in, but some people in New Zealand take this holiday very seriously. I have family members that were in the Army that died as many other New Zealander’s and Australians do.

Anyway, thanks for reading friends, and I’ll catch you in tomorrow’s post or in the comments!

If you like my posts, you can check out more of them right here.

And while you’re there, why not consider following me on Twitter, Instagram and right here, on WordPress.

Thanks for your support!

  1. Hi there Julie, my uncle was a firefighter for the UK Royal Air Force and was stationed at a base where the Australians were posted during WW2 so I know a small bit about their and New Zealand’s heroes sacrifices.
There shall be a lightsaber lit on Sunday in remembrance for your family and the countless other families that lost loved ones. Lest we forget.
