Personal Update – Stuff goin’ on…

Hello, my friends! Just a brief update today as I have a lot of stuff happening in different areas, which is a little bit overwhelming but a good type of “overwhelming.” 😎

You might have noticed my daily blogging schedule has taken a bit of a hit. This is because I am using a lot of my time and energy in the background to start writing as a freelancer again. It’s a bit of a mission, I will not lie, it is a lot of work on my part, but I think it will all pay off in the end 🙂

So I’ll continue to blog when I have updates or interesting Star Wars topics to blog about, and once I settle down a little more, I can blog more regularly.

I am watching the Bad Batch (of course!) and really enjoying it so far. Quite a few people are reviewing it in our community, so I don’t need to (hehe), but I am pretty excited for it as a series and really looking forward to whatever else will be coming out on Disney+ this year! I still can’t believe it’s already May… where did half the year go, lol

Stay safe out there, my friends. Let me know how you’re getting on – Neil, how are you getting on? Let me know if you get a chance to, buddy!

Talk soon!

If you like my posts, you can check out more of them right here.

And while you’re there, why not consider following me on Twitter, Instagram and right here, on WordPress.

Thanks for your support!

  1. Hi Julie, believe it or not but I have been struggling with blog posts recently – I was starting to run out of ideas for Star Wars based designs but then along came Hunter, Tech, Echo, Wrecker, Crosshair and…a few other new characters so there will be a “New Batch” of sabers soon. I have been re-inspired as I’ve managed to find a website that is showing the new series (for free) – I’m just waiting for episode three to be listed.
But back to posting I found out when I was on a lightsaber forum a few years back that you have to prioritise your time and do things in an order that suits/helps you…don’t do what I did and grind yourself into dust just to get a post out every day. I was “online” for nearly 15-16 hours a day trying to keep up – not good for my health.
I think we all appreciate whatever you post, whenever you can manage to…thank you!

    1. Hey FT 🙂 Thank you so much for these words of encouragement and wisdom! I agree with you that daily blogging can be detrimental if you push yourself to hard. I tend to lean towards that type of behaviour. I am not quite sure why but I tend to stress about keeping my blogs updated. Now that I am working on freelancing again, it’s impossible for me to do this without something else breaking lol so I am going to blog when I have something worth blogging about 🙂 Thanks again FT 😀 I look forward to your updates also 🙂

  2. Hi Julie. I’m doing ok thank you, had a rough few weeks where divorce and other dark thoughts took over.
I’ve upped my physical exercise by walking a lot more, getting active helps. The kitchen is going to be fitted by a tradesman as I just don’t have the time. I’m making a huge effort to get along with my wife, this last year has not been good on our marriage. Probably drop the gym and just go walking with my camera. Sometimes real life gets in the way of having fun lol.

    1. So true! I am sorry to hear about your bad thoughts and experiences of late but you’re right, walking can help immensely. I need to start doing more of that as well to clear the head and think about things that matter 🙂 I hope things improve for you soon buddy 🙂
