Eight Years of Blogging on WordPress!

Yup that is what WordPress are telling me today – I have been blogging on this blog for eight years today! When I check my stats it’s a totally different story however and I didn’t write my first blog post on this blog until 2016. So I figured I must have signed up in 2013 and just didn’t use my blog until 2016 😂

I also didn’t really consider myself a blogger until around 2017 when I started to blog a lot more regularly. In 2016 I blogged exactly once😂 so that’s why I wouldn’t consider 2016 the year I “started” blogging. For me that was definitely 2017 because I started to feel like I wanted to blog and create something to hopefully share with other Star Wars fans.

My humble little blog has grown over the years into something I truly feel proud of. I’ve met some wonderful people on my journey and that in itself was worth it.

  2. Congrats! (on however long you’ve been blogging, it’s hard to keep it up sometimes!) I started the SW blogs about a year and a half ago, and it’s been super fun, but I’ve blogged on WordPress before for several years. Truly one of my favorite things to do.

    1. While WordPress may think of it as an achievement I don’t really see it that way (I mean it’s nice to see it happen and all that). I feel like blogging is just something I do to keep myself happy and sane lol. Writing in general has always been my thing and blogging is just an extension of who I am really so I see it as a necessary thing. When you find that one thing that makes you feel completely whole and focused, it’s definitely worth celebrating it but it honestly doesn’t feel like that long since I signed up lol 😀 Hey I’ve got an idea for a project on Marvel characters I might email you about it for your feedback 🙂 I have actually been thinking about it for a while now but after reading your post I feel reinspired to look more seriously at it – I’ll email you soon!
