The Mandalorian Season Two Finale – Dave Filoni

If you haven’t seen this, make sure you watch this clip with Dave Filoni talking about Star Wars and more importantly (although he’s pretty important lol) the extra SNIPPET OF MARK HAMILL FILMING THE MANDALORIAN FINAL EPISODE OF SEASON TWO!

Also just a bit of a personal update on what’s been going in my life recently if anyone cares 😅 Our country has gone into another lockdown due to the Delta variant which has now spread to two of New Zealand’s biggest cities. And tomorrow I am due to get my second jab and I am feeling really apprehensive about going. There have been people queuing for testing and vaccinations for hours (up to 7 and 8 hours and 5-kilometre queues). This may not seem much to other countries because New Zealand is small – we only have 5 million people. But this is HUGE for New Zealand. People want to be vaccinated and get tested which is great but with so many people in one place, it really stresses me out. I had a panic attack today and balled my eyes out like a baby… but I really do feel afraid to be around so many people.

Anywho, wish me well friends and I hope you are all keeping safe out there and avoiding crowds (if you’re still seeing COVID in your country I hope you are safe and well).

Thanks for reading and I’ll catch ya in my next post!

  1. Hi Julie, I think it is much better to get the vaccine and not need it and I have had both jabs and for me, the second injection wasn’t as bad as people warned me it could be. This is impressive taking into account my lowered medical condition so I am fairly sure you will be ok. As to the crowds however, I can’t comment on that as in the UK I was given a precise time and date to go get jabbed and everybody moved as if on a conveyor belt in and around the medical centre so no big queues. Anyhoo I hope all goes well for you.

    1. Hi FT 🙂 Thanks for the kind words. Yeah it was actually really good. It took less than five minutes to get in, have my second jab and then wait in the observation room until it was time to go. My arm is aching a bit now, several hours later but it ached the first time too. I feel fine otherwise, a little tired but I know that’s pretty normal as well. Some of the people I know that had their second jab got really sick and I only know of one person that didn’t lol so I was a bit worried about that I guess 🙂 and of course, feeling anxious around crowds is something I have had all my life, since I was a kid so I kinda knew that would happen.

      1. Glad to hear it went well. The second jab does make you feel lethargic (<Ooh that's a big word for me to use! 🤣). After my second I slept for nearly 24 hours solid but was fine afterwards. I guess I'm lucky that due to my underlying health issues I have to have regular blood tests done so needles and stuff don't phase me, like you it's just the hassle of going to have them done that bothers me – crowds, public transport and all the different rules for different places etc. Anyway we have some protection now so with the Force we should be relatively ok. But stay safe anyway!

      2. Yeah I only just woke up because I felt extra tired yesterday but not so much today. The pain in my arm has almost gone as well and no other symptoms so far 🙂 My partner’s the same 🙂

  2. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I know it’s tough, but it will be worth getting it. The world has looked up to NZ for its handling of the virus. Here in the US we’re having surges of Covid due to the Delta variant, mostly because of “misguided” people (that’s a polite word for them) who refuse to get the vaccine or wear masks. It’s very frustrating. Anyway, I’m looking forward to the Mandalorian special on D+, it should be very cool. Thank goodness for our escapisms, lol. Stay safe.

    1. Thanks Tina for the kind words 🙂 Yeah I haven’t had a bad anxiety attack since last year so I think it was the pressure of everything happening at once (and work issues as well). It just got on top of me. But now that I have had my second jab I feel so much better about it all. I am in a bit of a tricky spot because I think one of my work mates at work is an anti-vaxxer. I wanted to ask him why he wasn’t getting his jab but I felt that might trigger me too much so I left it. I try to understand why they feel so strongly about not getting the vaccine but I can’t and won’t ever understand.
