Hello, all my lovely readers! Today, we have something special to discuss: a second lot of possible spoilery concept art content regarding the new Obi-Wan Kenobi series. If you wish to remain completely spoiler-free, please STOP READING! Thank you 🙌🙏
POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD
So we can only assume that the staff at Discussing Film have seen the concept art in question or have some sort of press release article sent from Disney expanding upon the concept art somehow. I just did a quick google search to see if there were any other references to the Obi-Wan Kenobi show concept art but so far, no hits. That doesn’t mean the concept art isn’t out there – it just means it’s embargoed until further notice by Disney. I mean, let’s face it, the Obi-Wan Kenobi show will be one of the biggest shows Disney will ever release. They will make it as BIG and as loud and as PR-centric as they can for maximum effect.
Let’s talk about the two points made in that tweet – the first is Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader approaching a trio of younglings in the Jedi Temple. This has been debated online already, as you can imagine, with fans saying they think it could be Vader recruiting (not killing) for Sith Inquisitors. Why would they bother revisiting a scene that was already covered in Revenge of the Sith? Well, they wouldn’t. That would be totally redundant unless they show a different angle of Anakin when he was killing the younglings.
The second point relating to the concept art is Vader seated on a throne as he communicates with a hologram. I find this one really interesting because it’s new, we’ve never seen this happen before. And it begs the question, which throne is Vader sitting on and who is in the hologram? What do you think, dear readers? Could it be a throne Vader had built in his castle on Mustafar? That seems most likely. And the person in the hologram could be anyone, so that’s really open for debate.
What do you think of these possible spoilers? Let me know in the comments what you think, and we can chat about it 😁
Stay safe, keep creating, and I’ll catch you all in the comments or in my next post!
