Hi DE HO Star Wars friends! I must say today has been a whirlwind of AWESOME from the moment I got up this morning, and I’m about to share why!
My previous post mentions the Disney Plus day happening in about eight hours from now (midnight my time, 6AM PDT), but today’s post comes just before its release to RABID Star Wars fans! Someone leaked footage from the previous investor’s day (2020), including a small interview with Deborah Chow (director for the Obi-Wan Kenobi show) and Ewan McGregor. While neither one gave much away, the media also included SEVERAL CONCEPT ART SHOTS for the show, which is a HUGE spoiler!
People all over the internet, including Reddit Star Wars Leaks and other communities, were quick to get their hands on the clip and upload it wherever they could. Disney tried very hard to take it down, and there are dead links all over the place now. But when it comes to Star Wars leaks, I am honestly UNSTOPPABLE lol – I MUST see those leaks!😅😁 Anyone who knows me will attest to that being the case. And I was able to see the images, which honestly, if you’re any kind of Star Wars fan, you’re gonna run into them somewhere! I won’t be uploading the clip, but here are the images:
But here’s the kicker – posters on Reddit are saying that the footage leaked may not be the duplicate footage they’re going to show us tonight, and if that’s the case, then I am even MORE excited (if that’s even possible!!) I guess they will also have a sneak peek into the show (as a teaser trailer, I doubt they’ll be showing the first trailer, but I REALLY HOPE THEY DO). IF I hear Hayden Christensen talk like Darth Vader, I am going to lose my mind 😅😁

I heard Darth Maul was gonna be in this Kenobi series but I don’t know if this rumour has any legs to stand on……..(whistles as I quietly walk away…..)

I thought that might be the case too but none of the major leakers that I follow have mentioned anything more about that. There were some images that circulated earlier in the year of Ray Park getting made up to be Maul again and that’s where I think people started to think he was shooting for the Kenobi show but it has never been verified afaik 😦

Whoosh! Well that joke went over your head….Maul in Kenobi?…a rumour without legs? 😂 Maybe it’s too soon to make jokes like that.
I think I saw a few images of Ray Park but wasn’t sure if they old pictures. I had read and seen quotes from him saying he’d like to reprise the role in some way so I’m hoping despite him cutting down my favourite character.

Oh lol sorry I thought you meant as flashbacks. People were saying at the time he would appear as flashbacks in Kenobi. But that was ages ago and way before Hayden was confirmed as returning for the Obi-Wan show

I haven’t watched anything from it yet (except the brief Kenobi sizzle reel from the other day), but it sounds disappointing for Star Wars fans.

Yeah, I was hoping for more from Star Wars. Marvel has a lot of stuff coming out, which is exciting, but we should have a trailer of Andor by now, at least, right? Wah!

Well they showed and old sizzle reel from the investor’s day last year! Like… couldn’t you at least show us a teaser or something from Kenobi seeing it’s going to be the biggest thing since sliced bread lol The fans feel pretty let down by the whole thing considering it’s supposed to be a Disney Plus day and Star Wars is a huge reason why they have so many subscribers…

I mean I get it – anyone that saw the leak before the Disney Plus Day event would have been disappointed and I take full responsibility for that. I didn’t have to see the leak but I mean I fully support leaks so lol there was no way I was not going to see it. But I doubt it would have been very exciting even if I hadn’t especially after finding out it wasn’t even actual footage just concept art images and interviews from last year’s sizzle reel…
