  1. Hi there, with my limited computer set-up I have sort of lost interest in gaming. I think the last game I played seriously was Episode III on the Playstation2 and 3! I have just downloaded the Fan Pack and will take a look at the wallpapers! Thanks.

    1. I am upgrading my computer very soon so I can play another game that’s coming out but that was before I knew this one was coming lol! So I’ll be able to kill two birds with one stone when it finally releases ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m not a big fan of the era myself but this game looks way too spectacular to not play!

      1. I did try to upgrade my laptop (an old Lenovo Thinkpad X-61 – look it up if you want a laugh) and I I could only afford a refurbished Lenovo L440. The L440 was a 2Ghz I5 processor with a 500Gb hard drive but that laptop is the one I had so much trouble with and finally failed (losing about 1/3 of my recently created files). So my luck with PCs and devices is not great. And I could probably afford a graphics card…just not the rest of the machine.
But yes the trailer looks good – just be aware of the trailer for the Motorstorm game on Playstation…the released version looked nothing like the trailer!

      2. I used to be a freelance writer and for many years my focus was video games in New Zealand so I know not to trust cinematics lol it’s not actual game play and most of the better developers know they have to be upfront about that. It’s amazing how many people think that a cinematic trailer is footage from the game itself.

      3. I’m sorry but I just misread your comment and thought you said you just focused on games in New Zealand…making me wonder if you reviewed games from the rest of the world? Sorry, I’ve had a tough week! But games from New Zealand would look pretty, and I have to say that the cinematics from Eclipse were impressive. However I want to know who the entity is that was summoned from the pool of liquid!

      4. Haha that’s okay! I reviewed games from everywhere not just New Zealand. Back then I don’t think there were any video games made by New Zealanders but yeah, I reviewed everything from Sega and Nintendo to FPS shooters on the PS3 and Xbox 360, it was a long time ago now. But yeah I was wondering about that in the trailer myself because you really don’t get to see any good shots of potential enemies in the video. Pretty sure Sith weren’t prominent during The High Republic era but I could be wrong on that as I don’t know too much at all about that era.

      5. I think the new “enemy” is a group known as the “Nihil”l or something like that which makes me wonder if they are followers of Darth Nilhilus from Old Republic days. He did survive in “Sith spirit form” till the time of the One Sith (around 137 ABY) by becoming one with his armour and mask. The Tusken Jedi A’Sharad Hett who later became Darth Krayt communicated with Nihilus in an attempt to discover how Nihilus had “possessed” the armour and survived.
And regards gaming consoles I did back in the day own a SEGA Saturn and Game Gear – both of which I still have.

      6. Yeah in SWTOR they are featured both Darth Krayt and Darth Nihilus and his mask! My partner is the collector when it comes to gaming particularly vintage gaming stuff. I can never keep up any more lol but yeah you are right, they are called the “Nihil” ๐Ÿ™‚ but it’ll be interesting to see if that is who they are from the trailer ๐Ÿ˜€

    1. Yeah I wasn’t planning on playing another game on top of the one I already play and a new one that’s coming out next year. But this looks way too good not to check out at least for a bit ๐Ÿ™‚ Especially since Yoda features in the game lol
