SWTOR B400 Cybernetic Armour Set: Bronze Armour Set of the Week

Welcome back, SWTOR friends! I’ve decided to revisit these armour posts again because they were enjoyable to do! So back in 2018 (a long time, I know, lol), I regularly posted about armour in SWTOR. It was dear to my heart, and I continue to trade in armour to this day. In fact, next to weapons, armour is one of the most traded commodities in SWTOR.

Which kinda makes sense when you think about it. Most games have their own unique way of selling and trading different commodities. And I’ve played a lot of games in my time (particularly during my MMO phase), so I have oodles of experience trading in different games. The thing is, it’s almost the same in every game – weapons, armour and dyes are the three things that I’ve seen work well in nearly every game I’ve played.

If you can start early enough and get hold of all the rare stuff that will either be phased out later on or are just difficult items to obtain, you can make a lot of cash, credits, platinum, whatever your game uses. That said, I really didn’t start off early, I mean, I started playing the game at launch, but I never did the trading thing straightaway like I have in other games. I’m not sure why it took me a little longer to get on the trading bandwagon, but I eventually did, and here we are!

Now I consider trading in SWTOR the thing I know how to do the best, and I like to blog about it here. So I used to post weekly about different armour I had purchased or focused posts on different armour sets from each tier. I started with Bronze so I’ll keep working on Bronze for now. I’ve made a secondary inventory list of all the armour sets that I have in the game and I’ll be working my way slowly through each list. This week’s set is:

Β  This set is part of a group of cybernetic armour sets. Afaik you can only obtain this armour set from the Cartel Market. This means other players might have it to trade on the GTN. You cannot get this set from quests or any other mission in the game – that is the only problem with Cartel Market sets. You can also randomly obtain this set if you buy Cartel Market packs from the GTN or from the Cartel Market.

I’ve never really liked this series of cybernetic armour. They always looked kinda disjointed to me like pieces didn’t fit with the rest of the set. I’m not sure why I think that, but that’s how it feels when I look at it. I’ve never worn it and I probably never will. But there are players who love these sets so each to their own I guess πŸ‘

The one cool thing about them is that each set is different. And the pieces that join to your limbs look pretty realistic (if cybernetics were an actual thing).

Next week I might cover off the latest set on the Cartel Market and rate that one each week as well. I am just deciding as it depends on how much time I get each week but we’ll see.

Let me know if you’ve been playing SWTOR lately or what you think of this armour set or any armour set!

As always stay safe out there, keep on keeping on and I’ll catch you in my next post!
