The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 3 – SPOILER RECAP

As the title suggests, this post will NOT be spoiler-free so if you have yet to see the first episode PLEASE do not read this post!

All I can say is “HOLY WOWZER!” That was another amazing episode, am I right? I thought the last episode was about a 5/10 but this episode really did push the action sequences way up and made it way more engaging.

Can you believe it? BO KATAN!!!

Not sure when they officially revealed who Katee Sackoff would be playing but I’ve known for some time now that she would be portraying Bo Katan – I just didn’t expect her to be THAT great – she is totally made for that part, no doubt about it.

The Dark Saber is power for whomever wields it

For Bo Katan to be able to rule Mandalore, she needs the dark saber and that’s going to be a VERY interesting encounter assuming we get to see it in this season. They may very well draw it right out until next season but I don’t mind, this season so far has been pretty amazing.

Long LIVE the Empire!

It’s been way too long since we actually saw Imperial troops doing something in this show and finally, we get to see Mandalorians taking out Stormtroopers! It’s so great! I think I was a bit too excited to see familiar characters but seeing the Empire is (barely) still in the game is just so exciting to me!

And talk about saving THE BEST PART FOR LAST – WE ARE GOING TO SEE OUR VERY FIRST LIVE ACTION version of AHSOKA TANO!!!! And again, I knew that her casting was decided some time ago with actress Rosario Dawson playing Ahsoka BUT OMG this episode we have had Stormtroopers versus Mandalorians, Bo Katan AND the mention of Ahsoka Tano! It’s just such a great and exciting time for us Star Wars fans 🙂

Thanks for reading, keep safe out there, keep creating and I’ll catch you tomorrow!
