What Scene Do You Think Is the Most Iconic in Star Wars?

There are many scenes in the galaxy far, far away that we could consider iconic and even magical. And with such an expansive universe, it would be hard to choose just one. But that’s precisely what I’m going to make you all do, my Star Wars friends.

If you had to choose only ONE scene from the Star Wars cinematic universe (that includes the TV shows as well), which one would you choose out of all the unique content we’ve seen? Is it difficult to do? It should be as there are so many scenes that captured the hearts and minds of fans worldwide.

Is this the most iconic scene in Star Wars?

Take your time with this one, and reply when you’re ready. But for fun, I wondered if you could pick which Star Wars show or movie mine would come from?

Hit me up in the comments, my friends, and let’s begin our friendly discussion on the most iconic scene in Star Wars chosen by us 😃😄👌

The Reddit Star Wars Media Calendar

Hello, all my lovely readers! This is just a quick update on the Star Wars universe and the TV shows, series, and movies that everyone is waiting for. Introducing the Star Wars Media Calendar!

The great star wars community over on Reddit has put together this google document that links to a list of all the different shows and movies expected to release.

The Star Wars Media Calendar google document is here.

I couldn’t embed it correctly into my post, so you’ll have to check it out via the link above. It is an absolute must-see if you’re actively monitoring release dates for the upcoming shows and movies. It is also actively updated, which means the document will reflect that as soon as an update or announcement is made, which is fantastic, right? 😁🥳

Anyway, that’s all from me for today. Things have been pretty hectic here (as I mentioned earlier), but hopefully, I’ll have more time to keep updating you on all the wonderful things happening in a galaxy far, far away!

Stay safe, keep creating, and I’ll catch you all in the comments or in my next post!

Star Wars Cinematic Universe – Obi-Wan Kenobi CONCEPT ART Possible SPOILER!

Hello, all my lovely readers! Today, we have something special to discuss: a second lot of possible spoilery concept art content regarding the new Obi-Wan Kenobi series. If you wish to remain completely spoiler-free, please STOP READING! Thank you 🙌🙏

POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD

So we can only assume that the staff at Discussing Film have seen the concept art in question or have some sort of press release article sent from Disney expanding upon the concept art somehow. I just did a quick google search to see if there were any other references to the Obi-Wan Kenobi show concept art but so far, no hits. That doesn’t mean the concept art isn’t out there – it just means it’s embargoed until further notice by Disney. I mean, let’s face it, the Obi-Wan Kenobi show will be one of the biggest shows Disney will ever release. They will make it as BIG and as loud and as PR-centric as they can for maximum effect.

Let’s talk about the two points made in that tweet – the first is Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader approaching a trio of younglings in the Jedi Temple. This has been debated online already, as you can imagine, with fans saying they think it could be Vader recruiting (not killing) for Sith Inquisitors. Why would they bother revisiting a scene that was already covered in Revenge of the Sith? Well, they wouldn’t. That would be totally redundant unless they show a different angle of Anakin when he was killing the younglings.

The second point relating to the concept art is Vader seated on a throne as he communicates with a hologram. I find this one really interesting because it’s new, we’ve never seen this happen before. And it begs the question, which throne is Vader sitting on and who is in the hologram? What do you think, dear readers? Could it be a throne Vader had built in his castle on Mustafar? That seems most likely. And the person in the hologram could be anyone, so that’s really open for debate.

What do you think of these possible spoilers? Let me know in the comments what you think, and we can chat about it 😁

Stay safe, keep creating, and I’ll catch you all in the comments or in my next post!

Star Wars Cinematic Universe – Obi-Wan Kenobi Show LEAKED Darth Vader Concept Art [POSSIBLE SPOILERS]

Happy weekend (for anyone in the Southern Hemisphere, that is!) or Happy Friday if you’re not! So obviously, if you are staying SPOILER FREE for the upcoming OBI-WAN KENOBI TV SHOW on Disney Plus – DON’T READ ANY OF THIS as it could possibly contain spoiler information about the show.

POSSIBLE SPOILER IMAGES AHEAD

If you’re up to date on all things Star Wars, you might have already seen these concept art images reportedly leaked from the set of Obi-Wan Kenobi. As with all things that come with a “leaked” tag, take it as you will (a pinch of salt helps lol) 😅😂

VIA SWNN

The images are self-explanatory as I’d guess most star wars fans would know that Hayden Christensen, AKA Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker, would have ended up in a Bacta tank after the injuries he sustained during his lightsaber duel with Obi-Wan on Mustafar. So to see him in this way isn’t all that surprising to me. However, it does show an image of a mask nobody has seen before, which looks a lot different to the ones I’ve seen in artist renditions:

There is huge speculation now that Hayden Christensen could be seen a lot more with his armour off than anticipated early on when the news broke of Hayden reprising his role. But after seeing these images, I’m pretty sure that Disney wants to tell the best version of Vader’s story in the Obi-Wan show that they can. And to do that would definitely mean showing Vader out of the bacta tank and without his protective armour.

Whatever you believe, IT’S HAPPENING IT’S REALLY HAPPENING, and I am jumping for joy inside right now lol 😁 Join me in talking about the upcoming show in the comments as always! Let me know your thoughts and what you think of the images!

Star Wars Cinematic Universe – The Bad Batch S01 Reviewed

Hello Star Wars friends! I hope you’ve been looking forward to another Star Wars universe post from yours truly, lol 😅😁 because this one is going to be semi-lengthy.

So instead of reviewing each episode, I felt it was easier to review the entire season once it was completed. Some folks like to review by the episode, which is totally cool, and I sometimes do that too, but it all depends on what I’m reviewing. Since I talk about the movie and TV-related things on my other blog, I figured The Bad Batch wouldn’t need an episode by episode breakdown here.

So The Bad Batch has ended, and I have to say that I was really quite underwhelmed by it in its entirety. Perhaps this is because I’ve come to love so much of the animated content from the Star Wars universe that I am always raising the bar higher for the next thing. I just don’t think those dizzying heights where The Clone Wars and Rebels exist were reached in The Bad Batch’s first season.

FOR ANYONE THAT HASN’T SEEN THE FINAL EPISODE OR THE FIRST SEASON YET, SPOILERS ARE AHEAD!

The Introduction of Omega

Honestly, I didn’t really think all that much of Omega as a character. I liked her in small doses (which kind of became more difficult as the season continued), and I liked the fact that she was a clone as well, but that’s about it. I sometimes felt that she meddled with the Bad Batch and their missions, and sometimes she didn’t really help. My question when it comes to any character, whether it’s Star Wars or any other fandom, is always “Does this character bring any value to the show or film? Do they make it better?” I felt that the Bad Batch clones were fine without Omega. And there really isn’t much else to say.

Returning characters – Fennec Shand

Fennec Shand showing up, on the other hand, was way cool, and she certainly made the episode a lot more interesting and engaging for me. Linking back to characters that I liked from the live-action universe was a definite highlight. In fact, any connection to any other characters from the live-action stories/films/shows are always so well written and timed and placed just right to push things along at a good enough pace to keep things fresh and exciting.

That thing with CT-9904 aka “Crosshair”

Not gonna beat around the bush, Crosshair is still one of my favourite characters, and he brings so much to the show with his obstinate and rigid personality. Crosshair abandoning the Bad Batch and going his own way was one of the show’s highlights for me. He caused a special type of rivalry and tension that almost always makes for exciting storylines.

DID YOU SAY CAD BANE?

One of the best parts of the entire show was seeing Cad Bane. I was so surprised and taken aback by his presence in that episode. It was one of my favourite episodes because of that, and if that wasn’t cool enough, we also got a show-down between him and Fennec Shand! Amazing stuff.

Yup that really was Hera Syndulla!

It was AMAZING seeing Hera pre-rebels! We finally get to look at her character, who she is and where she came from and most importantly, how she became a pilot (well, sort of). I liked that we also get to see who her parents were and where she lived as well. I am always happy to see background details on any character in the Star Wars universe, especially in live-action shows and films. But I’ll settle for animated too!

FINAL SUMMARY

I’ve purposefully avoided reading many opinions on The Bad Batch because I wanted to spend time with it myself and see how the season evolved. I was happy with most of the missions that The Bad Batch went on, but some of them were so boring! I guess some fans refer to the less interesting episodes as “fillers”, which is a way that fans can say “not a very good episode so skip it” sort of thing. There were definitely a couple of episodes that I could have slept through and not missed a thing. But some episodes really made up for those “fillers”, too, so it seems to balance out for me.

My final comment is that I thought the season was way too long. If they had left it at 10 episodes, I think it would have been a much better season. But I guess we’ll see once it returns for Season Two (pretty sure it has already been confirmed for a second season). So if you’re a Bad Batch superfan, you’ll be pleased with that news!

Let me know what you think of my review and what you thought of the season!

Stay safe, keep creating, and I’ll catch you all in the comments or in my next post!
