Star Wars Fandom – Weird Star Wars Stuff

Hi all! I hope you are all doing well and keeping safe out there. Today I’d like to talk about the Star Wars fandom after I saw someone post a GIF of Rey, Ben Solo and Paul Atreides on Twitter.

If you haven’t seen this weird fandom thing yet, you probably will soon. It’s not a new thing that star wars fans have talked about but it has reared its ugly head once more thanks to the movie Dune releasing recently. So my understanding of this fandom thing is that if Ben Solo and Rey had a kid, it would be Paul Atreides. I’m not 100 per cent sure that’s correct – it could just be that if Ben and Rey had a kid it would look exactly like Paul Atreides from Dune.

For anyone that doesn’t know who that is, this is Paul Atreides:

I made a little clip about this which I am hoping to use on social media but this explains it all 😂🤣

So that’s what is happening on Twitter right now. I haven’t bothered looking anywhere else but I’m sure there are videos on IG as well (and probably Tumblr).

Let me know what you think of this strange fandom thing. If you’re interested in reading more about weird fandom pairings and such you can check out more of my posts here.

Stay safe, keep creating and I’ll catch you in the next post!

Star Wars Fandom – Our Star Wars Stories

Hi, de Hi everyone! I hope the week is going well for you so far! I’ve had some time to spend thinking about posts for the blog when I stumbled upon this awesome show called Our Star Wars Stories. Some of you may already know about this. I mean, it is old (released in 2018), but there is so much Star Wars content online it’s hard to keep track of everything.

If there is one thing that every fan will say about Star Wars, it’s that TRUE star wars is about the fans – and I’m not talking about the casual fans who are also great! But for some people, Star Wars goes beyond just being a fan – it touches some people on a fundamental level that changes their lives. This video series is about those fans who have dedicated their lives to loving Star Wars and people who have special stories to tell the world.

(And for the record, I think everyone’s star wars story is worth telling, but I guess for the sake of the TV show, they had to focus on particular people)

I thought this was an amazing idea and a great way for other star wars fans to celebrate the positivity of being part of this amazing fandom.

So take a seat, kick off your shoes, sit back and get ready to be transported into the realm of the Star Wars fandom like you’ve never seen before – check the trailer below. The YouTube channel is here for anyone who wants to see more individual stories (18 in total).

Star Wars Fandom – How About a Rancor For Your Lounge?

Hello there everyone! I hope you are keeping safe out there and you’ve had a productive week thus far! So I saw this thing on Reddit and I didn’t bother looking into it until now. But this is pretty amazing right? Can you imagine this on your mantelpiece? 😮 Does this look like something someone would actually collect?

I managed to find the original thread on Reddit where they talk about this Rancor mount and then someone further down in the thread advised everyone that it is a PHOTOSHOPPED image showing the Rancor head as a piece of mounted taxidermy in someone’s living room.

Well, that’s DAMN ingenious I say and they really had me fooled for a good long minute lol 😅😂

But alas, yes, it’s fake and unless someone can point me in the direction of the real thing (which doesn’t exist and probably never will), I am sticking to my Reddit sources on this one.

But still, doesn’t it look amazing? I am pretty sure if this was real, there’d be quite a few hardcore Star Wars collectors that would buy this… maybe Rancho Obi-Wan?

Anywho, let me know what you’ve all been up to this past week and we’ll chinwag about that AND Star Wars 😁 See you in my next post!

Star Wars Fandom – This is AMAZING!

Hello, fellow Star Wars friends! Just a quick post today about this image I stumbled upon on Reddit, and it blew my mind (it’s more than a year old, but I’ve only just seen it):

Via Reddit

I MEAN GEEZ LOUISE… that’s insane! Someone 3D printed a Star Wars Droideka, lol. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably already seen this image as I posted it there some hours ago. But it’s interesting how many people haven’t yet seen this image, including myself, lol.

I tried looking through the thread to see if the person that posted it had any further details about how long it took him to make it etc., but I couldn’t see anything I could use for this post. It was pretty much loads of people saying the same thing like “holy crap!” quite a lot. 🤣

Imagine 3D printing Anakin… OR LUKE!!! I wonder how hard it would be to do that? I don’t know a thing about 3D printing other than the printers used to do it are SERIOUSLY expensive to buy (which makes sense because I am sure that NASA used 3D printers to make some of the stuff they used in Space).

Honestly, if I was super-wealthy, I’d seriously consider buying one of these for sure. It’s just amazing what we can do with technology these days, am I right?

Let me know what you thought of today’s post, my friends; stay safe out there, and I’ll catch you in tomorrow’s post!

Star Wars Fandom – How Did You Become a Fan?

Hello, fellow Star Wars friends! I hope the week is treating you well or at least better than last week!

So this is something I am keen to find out from my fellow Star Wars friends: how you got into Star Wars or who introduced you to Star Wars?

My story is a sentimental one that I’ve shared several times before on this blog, but I’m okay with telling it again. My apologies to anyone who already knows my story!

So for me, it was basically my Dad that got me into Star Wars when I was a youngling. My Dad was a huge science fiction fan, and he was also a voracious reader. Through his love for science fiction, I was introduced to the wonderful Star Wars universe. And now that he has passed, it’s the one thing in my life that I feel he gave to me as a gift so I could do the same and share my love of Star Wars with others.

And well, here we are, and it looks like I’m doing exactly what he did for me all those years ago. 😁

Do you have a special story about how you became a fan that you’re willing to tell? Please let me know in the comments, as I am excited to read your very own star wars story.

Catch you in the comments or, if not, in tomorrow’s post! Stay safe out there.
