Star Wars Cinematic Universe – Who Is the Most Tragic?

I asked this same question on Instagram to varying responses (as expected) but a few surprising ones also. Now I am in no way saying that these characters have THE most tragic stories in Star Wars. This is simply a selection of characters I’ve chosen for this particular quiz.

I wanted to include as many characters from all three parts of the Skywalker saga because that’s only fair. R2-D2 is the only character to live through the OT, prequels and sequels. So if you think time is a good indicator of how tragic a lifetime can be, he’s probably right up there.

Let me know who you choose and why – the why is very important here. Also, people hardly ever mention the droids or Boba Fett but if you recall, Boba’s life was pretty tragic from day one I mean imagine finding out that you’re a clone of your father and your DNA was used to create a clone army that eventually killed almost every living Jedi. There are some pretty tragic stories here.

My choice (and it was a hard one) is Anakin for reasons I am happy to reveal (but most people already know) in the comments 😅

Talk to you soon in the comments OR in my next post!

What Scene Do You Think Is the Most Iconic in Star Wars?

There are many scenes in the galaxy far, far away that we could consider iconic and even magical. And with such an expansive universe, it would be hard to choose just one. But that’s precisely what I’m going to make you all do, my Star Wars friends.

If you had to choose only ONE scene from the Star Wars cinematic universe (that includes the TV shows as well), which one would you choose out of all the unique content we’ve seen? Is it difficult to do? It should be as there are so many scenes that captured the hearts and minds of fans worldwide.

Is this the most iconic scene in Star Wars?

Take your time with this one, and reply when you’re ready. But for fun, I wondered if you could pick which Star Wars show or movie mine would come from?

Hit me up in the comments, my friends, and let’s begin our friendly discussion on the most iconic scene in Star Wars chosen by us 😃😄👌

The Reddit Star Wars Media Calendar

Hello, all my lovely readers! This is just a quick update on the Star Wars universe and the TV shows, series, and movies that everyone is waiting for. Introducing the Star Wars Media Calendar!

The great star wars community over on Reddit has put together this google document that links to a list of all the different shows and movies expected to release.

The Star Wars Media Calendar google document is here.

I couldn’t embed it correctly into my post, so you’ll have to check it out via the link above. It is an absolute must-see if you’re actively monitoring release dates for the upcoming shows and movies. It is also actively updated, which means the document will reflect that as soon as an update or announcement is made, which is fantastic, right? 😁🥳

Anyway, that’s all from me for today. Things have been pretty hectic here (as I mentioned earlier), but hopefully, I’ll have more time to keep updating you on all the wonderful things happening in a galaxy far, far away!

Stay safe, keep creating, and I’ll catch you all in the comments or in my next post!

Star Wars Cinematic Universe – This is Why You Shouldn’t Believe Everything You Read

There are dozens of sources for Star Wars movie information online that are verifiable sources. On top of those websites, you also have countless other “sources” for Star Wars media and news, which, unfortunately, include people like Mike Zeroh.

I’ve mentioned Mike Zeroh a few times on this blog because he is well-known (infamously) within the Star Wars fandom as being full of sh*t when it comes to his star wars theories. He is someone that I consider to be a master of “clickbait” headlines that rely on people’s natural curiosity to pull in readers and viewers on YouTube.

If there is one thing I would never do, it’s what Mike Zeroh does daily, and that is to make shit up just to get viewers and fans on his website and YouTube channel. Perhaps it’s my background in journalism that stops me from blogging about lies. I dunno but I think it’s wrong to purposefully mislead people into believing something that you know is completely fake.

Here’s a snippet of a post I saw on Twitter recently that made me actually laugh out loud:

I honestly don’t know how he can blog about these things without verification. He says that he has someone on the “inside” at Lucasfilm or Disney; I forget which one now. But it’s obvious to me that he’s just fabricating everything he says on YouTube so people will click and subscribe. Either that OR the source he is getting this information from is trolling him BIG time and making him look like a person that cannot ever be trusted.

His biggest competition is a dude named Star Wars Theory, who I also don’t have all that much respect for (mostly because I think he is trying to make as much money from Star Wars fans as he can while claiming he is all about “the fandom and Star Wars). I don’t have an issue with someone trying to make a living from something they love; hell, isn’t that the dream job? But something he did when he made a Darth Vader video a while back just put me off him for life. But I will say this about Star Wars Theory, and that is at least what he talks about is usually verifiable to some degree. I don’t listen to his YouTube channel, so I can’t tell you whether or not he’s lied about content on his blog. But he seems slightly more legit than Mike Zeroh.

Anyway, let me know what you think of this latest “theory” about Rey having a “force child” like Anakin, LOL. Even typing it out sounds ridiculous to me…😂🤣

Stay safe, keep creating, and I’ll catch you all in the comments or in tomorrow’s post!

Star Wars Cinematic Universe – What Do You Think Is the Worst Moment in Star Wars?

I have yet to decide upon this because I am conflicted. We are not talking about the best moments but the worst in the cinematic Star Wars universe. It is your interpretation of events as you see it, therefore it has worth and value – it doesn’t have to agree with anyone or anything so please, enlighten me my dear readers as I am excited to see what you think about this.

By “worst” I mean it could be a particular scene that you didn’t like for whatever reason. And if you could redo this scene, how would you go about doing it? You may think it’s perfect as it is, showing all the brutality and hopelessness of the story plainly and clearly. It can still be a horrible scene, even if it is masterfully created and/or written. It can be masterfully created for this exact reason.

I think there are quite a few of these scenes in Star Wars – made to create an uncomfortable feeling in its viewers. And they say Star Wars is for children… well, the toys might be but the stories are far from lullaby material 😅😂

Let’s see what we can look at as examples:

  1. Copious amounts of killing (doesn’t matter whether that be for “good” or “evil” reasons, people are still dying everywhere in Star Wars!)
  2. Betrayal of friends
  3. Betrayal of family members
  4. Family members trying to kill each other
  5. Death due to having a broken heart (Padme)
  6. Genocide (entire planets being wiped out by the “evil” Empire/First Order etc)
  7. Patricide (the murdering of one’s own father)

Those are just some examples off the top of my head so plenty of situations to refer to as the “worst” star wars moment. You could also consider the introduction of certain characters into the cinematic universe as “the worst” such as Hayden Christensen portraying Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader (many fans think he was terrible in the prequel trilogy – just their opinion, not mine!)

So with all that in mind, if you had to choose ONE particular example of the worst moment in the Star Wars cinematic universe (this also includes TV shows by the way), what would it be for you?

I am excited to see your examples in the comments!

As always, stay safe my friends and MTFBWY!
