The Betrayal of Anakin Skywalker – From a Certain Point of View

I’ve started making video clips again in a big way. But I’ve realised just how time-consuming it can be! Especially if you’re doing a lot of editing which I’ve had to do for this clip.

It’s a bit rough around the edges because I’m still getting familiarised with the software once more after forgetting how for two years. But it’s all good, I’m enjoying myself, and that’s what counts!

So I think I might make a series of these videos depending on how much time I get to do it, of course, but I thought this would be fun to do. I decided not to add my own background music to this and kept the original soundtrack which did cause a few little hiccups (you’ll probably notice it if you watch it). But eventually, I’ll be adding my own sound to these clips.

Here’s the first one, hope you like it!

Stay safe out there, keep creating and I’ll catch you in tomorrow’s post or in the comments!

Adobe Premiere Pro – Learning Curves With Ben Solo

I’ve started using Adobe Premiere Pro for creating video clips. I’ve used other apps before and never really thought to use Premiere Pro, but I’ve started using it, and it seems pretty straight-forward so far. So not so much of a learning curve to report on for now.

But I’m sure as time progresses, I’ll find myself having to figure something out when I start integrating different elements into the videos such as overlays, effects etc. If you’re familiar with the basics of how to create video clips, you shouldn’t have too much of an issue using Adobe Premiere Pro. My biggest hurdle right now is the creative process of creating a “story” using video.

Okay, I think I have something to upload – it’s my first Adobe Premiere clip, and I’ve converted into GIF because it’s easier to watch that way.

Made by Darkside Creative

But it comes with sound so to listen to it with the sound added, you need to watch the MP4.

The music is called “Ben Solo’s Theme”, and it’s composed by John Williams. I wracked my brain over what music to use and found this by pure accident doing a good old google search (it really is your friend) 😅 😂

Let me know what you think? I’m keen to get feedback from my friends and loyal readers 🙂

Catch ya on the next post – and if you have any request for something you’d like to see as a clip (it can be anything as long as the footage is out there on the internet), let me know, and I’ll see what I can do!

**EDITORS NOTE I just updated the title so anyone searching for content on Ben Solo can find it 🙂

Did Han Solo Really Shoot First?

This question has been asked by fans for many years, and there are countless internet memes about it as well. If you’re a hardcore star wars fan, you probably know the answer to this question, but some people still debate what actually happened, despite there being footage out there that proves it.

I saw this awesome post on Reddit this morning and decided to post this on my website so if anyone is in doubt, doubt no more!

This is the original, unaltered video clip from Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope. One of the Redditors managed to pick up the original VHS version somewhere, and he uploaded this particular scene to Reddit because so many people asked to see it in its unaltered state.

I haven’t researched this much myself, but I do know that there is a version of all three of the original trilogy movies unaltered and in DVD format. I can’t remember where I found it now because it was some time ago, but there was a group of Star Wars fans that worked on it as a project and then uploaded it to the internet for fans. I might have to go looking again to see if I still have it bookmarked, but this is rare footage indeed. There is also a chance that the footage may have been taken down by now, so I wanted to show this before the same thing happens.

Let me know what you think? Have you ever seen this version before? I’d be keen to discuss it with you!

Stay safe, keep watching and creating and I’ll see you in the next post!
