Star Wars Cinematic Universe – Behind the Scenes The Mandalorian and Mark Hamill

We’re staying with the topic of Luke Skywalker on The Mandalorian after these new images of the behind-the-scenes footage were posted on Twitter. So I did a little digging myself and found a video from Disney Plus about the upcoming content where Mark Hamill is in it very briefly dressed as Luke Skywalker on The Mandalorian set!

Here’s the video clip itself:

And the images I captured:

THIS IS THE BEST!!!
BTS THE MANDALORIAN TV SPECIAL

This Disney Plus BTS The Mandalorian coverage of Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker will be SO popular, and I don’t say that lightly. As shown in my previous post, millions of fans worldwide will be anticipating this airing on Disney Plus, and Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker again has brought tears to the eyes of many (I anticipate more tears will flow).

It goes without saying that the fans adore Luke Skywalker, but the bigger question is, do you think Disney really listened to Mark Hamill when he was dead-set against them turning Luke into a crazy hermit and killing him off in the sequels? Mark Hamill made a very telling Twitter post about it when the final episode of The Mandalorian was released:

Mark Hamill’s tweet regarding his character Luke Skywalker in the finale of The Mandalorian Season Two

I think that’s a non-offensive way of saying that he was happy to see his beloved character brought to life once more as he remembers him and how the fans should remember him too.

I can’t wait for this Disney special (if you can’t already tell 🥲😅) and to blog about it when it finally arrives on August 25th!
