Ben and Rey as Literary Quotes Video Edit 01

I discovered this GIF set on Tumblr and thought it would make a really nice video edit, so I used the original idea and added music and other edits to it to produce this (all credits at the end of the clip!)

Awww, isn’t this sweet and cheesy at the same time?

I’ve done many similar video edits like these, particularly on Pinterest, and I’ve started using Filmora a lot more, too, so I think I’ll stick with this and try and make something every other day if time allows. I’ve found that during this lockdown, I am consistently trying to keep my mind off work (as I am still in a crisis there) and COVID, and the only times I am completely immersed is when I am creating something or watching something.

So you’re going to see a lot of these soppy, cheesy video edits every now and then 😅😆 I am hoping to revisit the video edits for Star Wars MisQuotes as well, which people seemed to really like!

If you’d like to see a specific edit (it could be a scene in particular or a quote that you really like), let me know in the comments, and I shall do my best to deliver that next!

Let me know what you’ve all been up to – staying safe, I hope!

Star Wars Edit – Kylo Ren’s Helmet

More edits from me. I spent some time taking photos of images from The Star Wars Book and I really loved this one of the inside dust cover at the beginning of the book:

But it didn’t look very nice with all the glare showing from my phone so I spent some time editing it and came up with this:

What do you think of this edit? Does it look okay, not too dark? I personally think it’s a huge improvement on the original 😅😂 but I could lighten it up a bit (it kind of has a “matte” effect going on).

I hope you are all doing well and keeping safe!

Catch you in tomorrow’s post or in the comments 🙂

Star Wars Edit – Obi-Wan Kenobi

Just a quick post today – I managed to get some time to update an edit I did of a comic book cover for Obi-Wan Kenobi. I loved this edit but I felt it needed a little something more:

I edited it in Photoshop first then did the animation. Here’s the edit before the animation:

Quick Update!

I am waiting for Pinterest to update their metric to the new one as I talked about here the other day. I don’t know why I am so concerned about it but I guess we’ll see how things go tomorrow when it takes affect.

I’ve also been busy making edits and I spent a whole heap of time on one today and then deleted it because I didn’t like how it turned out 😅

In the meantime, here’s a quick edit I did of an image of Anakin which I am still working on to make something else but I’m not quite sure what that is going to be yet but I am thinking I want to make a poster. And I want to do one of Padme as well…

The Betrayal of Anakin Skywalker – From a Certain Point of View

I’ve started making video clips again in a big way. But I’ve realised just how time-consuming it can be! Especially if you’re doing a lot of editing which I’ve had to do for this clip.

It’s a bit rough around the edges because I’m still getting familiarised with the software once more after forgetting how for two years. But it’s all good, I’m enjoying myself, and that’s what counts!

So I think I might make a series of these videos depending on how much time I get to do it, of course, but I thought this would be fun to do. I decided not to add my own background music to this and kept the original soundtrack which did cause a few little hiccups (you’ll probably notice it if you watch it). But eventually, I’ll be adding my own sound to these clips.

Here’s the first one, hope you like it!

Stay safe out there, keep creating and I’ll catch you in tomorrow’s post or in the comments!
