The first-look reveal from Star Wars for the Marvel comic Star Wars: The High Republic #1 has been revealed to fans. Here is a snippet of the comic below:
There are four panels in total which you can check out on the Star Wars website right here.
I haven’t had a lot of interest in The High Republic on this blog so I am wondering if that is because my readers, in general, are just not that interested? I’m thinking of running a poll to see if I can gage why that might be but I was kind of on the fence about it too when I first heard about the release. It took me a while to warm up to the idea of the new “saga” for Star Wars.
As you welcome in something new, you say goodbye to things of the past; one door opens another one closes – or as Kylo Ren so succinctly put it:
“Let the past die. Kill it, if you have too”
Do you think that is what we must do as fans of Star Wars? Let the past go and welcome in the new saga and creativity from the universe we love so much? I am not entirely sure myself. Let me know what you think about this in the comments, friends.
Try changing the gender of a lead character after 50 years. That takes a bit of embracing

Hehehe yeah – well they kind of did that with Rey and the sequel trilogy which many people were not happy about at the time. I find it hilarious that people would be annoyed because they chose to give a female the lead in a Star Wars film… like wake up and smell the roses this is the 21st century not the 1700s lol

That’s just daft. Sadly I know far to many stick in the mud types. It’s fun to wind them up.

Haha yeah I see them all the time on Social Media making their claims like they’re important. The sad thing is some of those people have been so cruel to the actors – that’s one of the reasons why Kelly Marie Tran stopped using social media 😦 and the same with Daisy Ridley
