Star Wars is Poetry – The Star Wars Archives Episodes IV – VI

Hello my Star Wars friends! I’m back with another book update (I know, it’s getting crazy with all the Star Wars books I’ve been buying or that are releasing).

Here is my newest acquisition and it’s beautiful!

Julie’s Pic

The problem is I have this thing where I find it really hard to open anything I have just bought if it’s relating to Star Wars. I dunno why that is. So I unless I find an online version of this book somewhere, I am not going to know what’s in it lol πŸ˜‚πŸ˜…

I know that sounds really odd and believe me it feels kinda odd writing about it here but I am sure my star wars friends will understand. I might have to check out the e-book version of this and just buy it. My birthday is in three days so I am going to make sure I splurge on Star Wars stuff!

Tell me how you’re all getting on friends, and I hope you have a great start to your weekend.

Catch you tomorrow or in the comments!

  1. Hi Julie, not opening a new book isn’t anything strange – there is a good reason behind the habit. When I was a kid I was always taught never to open a book too wide so as to “break the spine” of the book – if you repeatedly open and close a book you eventually wear out the binding and it becomes saggy and wrinkled. It then makes it hard to read the spine and it looks terrible on your shelf. It’s a sort of “Box Fresh” syndrome for bibliophiles – funnily enough it was a librarian that kept telling me not open a book unless I really needed/wanted to.
The problem I have with these type of books is 1) the price is usually out of my range and 2) the books do repeat a lot of previously published stuff with only a few pages or entries in each new publication. I realise that will happen but it still puts me off off a little from buying.
And before I forget may I wish you a “Happy Level Up Day” – hope you enjoy it – I gave up celebrating mine a few years back after my family wheeled out my birthday cake and then had to call the fire brigade out because of all the candles on it were a fire hazard 😁

    1. Thank you very much FT πŸ™‚ I like that term better “Level Up Day” you kind of get to a point where you feel birthdays are just another day but I try to do something special on mine when and if I can. Nothing extravagant but I might have a nice dinner or something like that with the family πŸ™‚ and LOL at the cake that is hilarious lol

      1. Hi there, for the past 6 years or so I was sort of spoiled for my birthday as it is in December and so I was able to treat myself and get VIP tickets for opening days of the Sequel films. But now that Rise Of Skywalker has closed the saga I’ll have to find new treats…maybe I’ll return to adding sabers and blasters to my collection!
