My Star Wars Gifs and Edits Star Wars

Star Wars GIFs – Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi

Today I ended up with a migraine that took about half a day to subside but after it had gone, I felt a lot better and wanted to make something in Photoshop. I haven’t made a lot of GIFs lately, mostly because I’ve been learning new techniques and I haven’t been able to really apply them to something Star Wars related until today.

So I came up with this composite image once I had found the perfect Obi-Wan image to use for it. It went through several iterations before I was happy with it including a backdrop of Vader and Luke but I finally settled on Leia instead:

Then I decided to make a couple of GIFs with this image – GIF one

And GIF two:

How prophetic did this conversation between Leia and Luke become? Luke still a young man being advised by his sister that innocence is always under threat, especially when you’re fighting for a cause and against all the odds. At this point, Luke was still a little wet around the ears, a young man full of promise and ready to take on the Universe. It seems somehow more believable now looking ahead from this point towards what we know of Luke’s destiny. The Luke Skywalker we see in The Last Jedi has become precisely what Leia hoped he wouldn’t, and the force could not protect him from it.

Star Wars Post – The Dark Side and… The Light

More animation from me 😁 Kylo Ren’s lightsaber and a beautiful piece from artist Jeusus.

I remember how much of a fuss people made when Kylo Ren first showed up in magazines. At first, I despised the fact that they were using a relatively unknown actor to play the villain. This annoyed me immensely. I remember feeling so disappointed when I found out and I started looking for information on this new actor. Who the hell was Adam Driver??? I didn’t give him a fair shot to prove himself. But when I finally saw Kylo Ren on the big screen, I couldn’t stop gushing about him. That is just so funny to me 🤣😅

My second animation is from an artist I have liked for a long time, Jeusus. Isn’t this beautiful?
