Star Wars is Poetry – The Last Jedi Expanded Edition

REYEDIT02
My Edit 🙂

“I know everything I need to know about you,” she countered, taken aback.
“You do?” he asked, and peered at her, eyes intent. “You do, You have that look in your eyes from the forest, when you called me a monster.”
He came within a meter or two of Rey, and she wondered what would happen if she refused to move and they intersected. Would she find herself in his mind again, and have to endure his presence in hers? Could they actually touch, across a galaxy?
“You are a monster,” Rey said, remembering the terror of her paralysis on Takodana.
She stared back at him — and found his. eyes full of hurt. Hurt — and conflict.
“Yes, I am,” Kylo said, and there was no menace in his voice — only misery.”

Star Wars edits – Darth Maul and TLJ Comic Adaptation cover

If I see things I like I imagine them with different colours or maybe animation, or even just edited to look more aesthethically pleasing. I guess that’s why I am constantly making edits and animations, because it’s fun to enhance things or give them “life”.

Here’s the original cover for the Star Wars TLJ Comic Adaptation – original art by Paolo Rivera:

Reylo Motion Art – Boomdafunk Edit

Boomdafunk is a wicked artist on Tumblr that makes some of the most amazing Reylo art. She is definitely one of my favourite Star Wars artists (of which I now have an ever-growing list). Browsing through Twitter I came across one of her images and of course, I instantly got to thinking about how I could edit this awesome art into something even more special (hopefully) by enhancing it and animating it. So I added some image enhancements including colourising the original image and then animating it and lastly, rotating the image:

These broken feels – courtesy of Luke Skywalker and Han Solo… *spoilers*

The above image was taken from Twitter and I immediately began thinking about the possibilities if The Last Jedi had included a scene where Luke Skywalker was reunited with Han Solo. There has been a lot of speculation about similar possibilities such as reuniting Ben Solo with his mother Leia or even reuniting the entire Solo family. Unfortunately, none of these scenarios was likely after TFA (where Han Solo is killed by Kylo Ren) and TLJ (when Jedi Master Luke Skywalker becomes one with the force).

Star Wars “Who Am I?” – Kylo Ren

KYLO REN - STAR WARS PROFILE 02

I know that I said I would be doing profiles of lesser-known Star Wars characters, but I just adore Kylo Ren – next to Darth Vader, he is my favourite Star Wars villain (Darth Vader pips him at the post but only just). So I’ve decided I will try and do one profile every day until I run out of characters to profile (not likely – remember the EU?) Continue reading → Star Wars “Who Am I?” – Kylo Ren

Star Wars is Poetry – “The Balance”

Star Wars is Poetry – here is a poem I put together using Rey and Kylo Ren/Light and Dark/The Balance of the Force as inspiration. Hope you like it!

The Balance Star Wars is Poetry

You
captured my heart
with a touch, with a touch
In a moment
lost in time’s embrace
We found our way to heaven

As darkness rises
In your light, I shall hide
until the pain, and the fear,
and the suffering
subside

For you
are the light
that saved me, that saved me
In that moment
lost in time’s embrace
We found our way to heaven
