When I stumbled upon this on Twitter, I had to read it twice to figure out what was happening. So a Star Wars fan named Brad Whipple created a GoFundMe for people to support the Ben Solo story arc and character. The funds will be donated to BINC, which is the Book Industry Charitable Foundation.

It’s for a great cause. There are thousands of Ben Solo fans who want to see his story continue. If you are unfamiliar with Charles Soule, he is the original writer behind the recently released Kylo Ren comic The Rise of Kylo Ren which was completely sold out.

Charles Soule will be giving away a signed, first-print copy of The Rise of Kylo Ren #1 as well as an original, non-canon story about Kylo or Ben Solo to the winner! This is huge! If the person that wins decides to share the story with everyone, we could get something a little better than what The Rise of Skywalker delivered.

I’m very supportive of this, especially since the donations will be going towards supporting the book industry which, like many other areas of business, is suffering as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

This is a positive step for all involved, and I can’t wait to see who wins this awesome prize!
