Judging by the number of forum posts on the official SW: TOR forums regarding RNG and loot drops, I am assuming that the “Bronze” armour loot boxes that plague both cartel market packs and Command pack drops kinda tick people off. At one point, so many people complained about the number of repeated bronze items in Cartel Market packs that BioWare was forced to do something about it and changed the RNG loot drops for CM packs entirely. Sure, you still get a few bronze items in the CM packs to date but the ratio of bronze items to say silver or gold is much more improved than it used to be.

That said, I don’t think players are giving the Bronze Packs the credit they deserve. Whilst they may not shine as brightly as their Silver, Gold or Platinum counterparts, I’d like to argue that an armour set’s value is not so much in the colour of the pack it comes in but in how good it makes you look once you have it on. If you’re only wearing gold armour sets because they’re gold armour sets, you’re missing out on quite a fair bit.

So with that in mind, I’m not sure if I’ll make this a weekly article or just an “every now and then” write-up on some of the sexiest looking Bronze Armour sets that people tend to ignore but shouldn’t.

The first time I saw this armour set I always wondered why it was never released as silver or even gold for the way it looked.
