What is WordPress Stories?

I wanted to write a quick post about WordPress stories which popped up on my account yesterday afternoon as a “beta”. So I am guessing you can’t actually use this tool officially and I don’t know why it was showing on my account yesterday๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚

But when it does arrive for everyone, it’s basically just another “block” you can add to your posts like you add an Instagram Story in Instagram. It looks and feels exactly like an Instagram Story so you can add all sorts of media to it be that images, clips or whatever you want to make your story “pop” for your readers.

At first, I thought it was an error so I clicked on it and then it took me to the WordPress story block in my post. It did say something about “we are testing this new type of WordPress post” I am sorry I am not sure of the words exactly but yeah, it’s definitely a new feature that I guess they were testing yesterday.

I’ve done a search for the story block in my post today and there is no way to add a WordPress Story block as yet. But I am guessing it will be very soon ๐Ÿ˜Šโ˜บ๏ธ

If you’re curious, you can check out my post on it here. Let me know if you can’t see the WordPress story image I added of Anakin – it may not be viewable for some.

Thanks peeps, catch you later, leave me a comment and I’ll reply as soon as possible!

If you like my Star Wars posts, you can check out more of them right here.

And while you’re there, why not consider following me on Twitter, Instagram and right here, on WordPress.

Thanks for your support!
