I like to create things. Or more to the point, I like to edit things and turn them into something else or try to enhance something. I would never consider myself an artist because I can’t draw or paint. I think I’m a person that “reinvents” things. But if I do create something I always try to give credit if I am using another person’s image or artwork.
A while ago I posted a SWTOR Character Sheet on Darth Malgus. I found this quite fun to do so I am trying to get into the habit of creating more of them for my blogs/Instagram/Pinterest etc. Here’s my second attempt using Carth Onasi’s profile as the character:
I liked this one. The artist is on DeviantArt and it was the perfect image for what I wanted to do. I saw some of these images on Tumblr the other day and decided I really liked them so I am adopting this style into my own creations.
I was playing around with Instagram trying to find different ways to introduce text into static images (because that can be fun to do) and discovered android app Phonto. This app allows you to add all sorts of text-based effects to your images. So I created this one yesterday on Instagram:
It’s quite amazing how an image can be completely transformed just by adding text. This image of Obi-Wan Kenobi is awesome enough without the text, but when you add text, it becomes something else again.
[…] I can hear sighs of relief 😂 but seriously, I am looking forward to this blog series and I hope you are too! I did start a character analysis of some of the SWTOR characters a long time ago so I’ll be covering any characters I haven’t already blogged about. If you’d like to check out those characters, you can do so here. […]
